Welcome to the website for our performing band in the Greater Houston, Texas area.

On StageThe Rachels have become a full-time, hard-working group sometimes performing 5-6 days a week to accommodate requests of local club owners. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, Steven was invited to tour Japan courtesy of Lone Wolf Entertainment. The Rachels have been able to play large events throughout Houston such as the 1999 Houston Marathon, the Texaco/Houston Grand Prix in 2001, the Freedom Festival 2004, the Spring Crawfish Festival (5 years straight), and The Astros Opening Day Party in 2000 and 2004. Every year, major clients such as Clear Channel Communications, Budweiser, and Rice University regularly request The Rachels to play at their events.

The Rachels made it to the movie soundtrack for “Nobel Things” (2008 – producer Rnoble-things-movie-posteruben Neubauer) and Steven was the only performer on the soundtrack that wrote his own song, “I Can’t Complain” . Other artists on the soundtrack were Clay Walker, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Bird, Dobie Grey, Tracy Lawrence, Pam Tillis, and Bo Bice.

Our latest music videos are posted in the Videos section. Check out our upcoming schedule on the Calendar and plan to join us at the events.
